Recreation Department Director
Bruce DiBisceglie

Bruce has been Mendham Borough's Recreation Director, serving in a part-time capacity since 2003. He is a full-time Special Education educator in Middlesex County teaching Technology, Spanish, Financial Literacy and Music. In Mendham, Bruce is responsible for the Labor Day parade, facility scheduling, concerts, movies, festivals, and the annual community booklet, but he recognizes management of our the award-winning Mendham Day Camp as the most gratifying duty.

Camp Director
Kristel Gallagher 

Kristel has been with Mendham Day Camp for 16 years! Kristel graduated from Rider University with majors in Elementary Education and Psychology and minors in special education and early childhood education. Kristel is currently a special education teacher and has been teaching for 7 years. Kristel loves working with counselors and campers of all ages to make the summer fun and exciting for all!

Assistant Camp Director
Shane Fessel

Shane Fessel is joining the Mendham Day Camp team this year! Shane is a History teacher at County Prep High School in Jersey City. When he is not prepping for school, Shane enjoys spending time with his friends and family and reading about his favorite musicians and historical figures. Shane looks forward to meeting all the great parents and guardians of our campers and is excited for the Summer of 2024.

Medical Director
Kyle Wiggins

Mr. Kyle began his journey as the Medical Director of Mendham Day Camp in 2016, bringing over a decade of experience in the emergency medical field. With a background serving on 911 emergency ambulances, he's adept at handling diverse medical and emergency scenarios. When the school year unfolds, he is a dedicated school bus driver for the Morris School District, ensuring the safe commute of students. Mr. Kyle also co-manages a commercial cleaning company alongside his wife, Jacquelyn. Mr. Kyle's heart lies in fostering joy and comfort among campers, whether it's providing a character Band-Aid or fulfilling their musical requests with a song during camp sessions.
